Custom Domains

Custom domain hosting directly through Buildable is coming in a future release. In the meantime, you can deploy your exported project to any hosting platform and configure your domain there.

How custom domains will work

When custom domain support is available, you’ll be able to point your own domain directly to your Buildable project — no export needed.

Setting up a domain

The process will be:
  1. Add your domain in your Buildable project settings
  2. Configure DNS records at your domain registrar
  3. SSL is provisioned automatically — your site will be served over HTTPS

DNS configuration

You’ll typically set up one of the following:
If you’re using a subdomain (e.g., app.yourdomain.com), a CNAME record is usually the simplest option.

Deploy with a custom domain today

Until native custom domain support is available, you can export your project and deploy to a platform that supports custom domains:
  • Vercel: Add a domain in your project settings — automatic SSL and DNS verification
  • Netlify: Go to Domain settings and add your custom domain
  • Cloudflare Pages: Connect your domain through your Cloudflare dashboard
See the Deploying guide for step-by-step instructions.
